With 10 days until Christmas, it's time to finish your Christmas decorating! What better way than to make a native Christmas Wreath that will last until the big day? (It also looks great year-round too).
On the 15th of December, it's also school holidays! So, bring along your primary-school aged child, niece, nephew, or grandchild (4-10 year-old), with supervision required for younger children, for a hands-on, exciting workshop.
In this Christmas Wreath making workshop we only use native Australian plants, so in the spirit of an Australian Christmas we’ll teach you about native vs exotic vs invasive plants and why this matters.
We’ll also teach you the basics of floristry, and then the steps on how to make a wreath using native plants and flowers, gumnuts, wooden pieces which you can decorate, as well as twine, wire and ribbon! The workshop lasts one hour, from 9:30-10:30am, and pricing is $30/child.
