Frequently Asked Questions

How many boxes are included? 

You will receive 6 DIY kits in total! One will arrive every 2 months over a 12-month period.

What age are the boxes designed for? 

The kits are designed for children aged 6 to 12 years, but younger and older kids (even adults) have done them too! We have tested each kit with primary school aged students to ensure they’ve got a dash of challenge, mixed in with a heap of fun.

When do you ship the subscription boxes? 

We ship the subscription boxes on the day the order is placed and on the same day every second month. For example if you place an order on the 14th of April your next box will be shipped out on the the 14th of June.

Can I still order it if the year has already started?

Yes! You will receive the boxes in the same order starting on the date the order is placed. See the next FAQ for delivery months.

Can I chose the order the boxes arrive? 

Unfortunately not! We have designed the kits so they progressively become more challenging and build on the previous concepts. The order you will receive the kits are: Seed Surprise, Paint and Plant, Bug Hotel, Desert Terrarium, Wiggly Wormery, then the Enclosed Terrarium.

How long does it take to complete an EnviroMentoring kit? 

On average the kits take 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. But if your kid loves taking their time decorating, taking photos of their creation, taking brain food breaks, or switching between tasks then it could take a bit longer.

Do the kits use environmentally-friendly materials?

Yes! When sourcing our materials we ensure there is as little plastic as possible. We also source the majority of our materials from Australian made and owned businesses. We’re doing our part to look after the planet and your health.

Can I buy the subscription boxes in bulk?
